The ceremony was hosted by Tan Wenyi, Assistant Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office. In her opening remarks at the completion ceremony, she reviewed the whole exchange program, and congratulated the Thai students on their fruitful studies.She also thanked teachers and students from both sides for promoting cultural exchange. Then, Thai student representative delivered a speech. She shared their experiences of learning Chinese art and local customs, as well as their reluctance to part with Chinese peers after creating artistic together. Afterwards, our student representatives reviewed warm moments and growth gained from cross-cultural communication.
Next, secretaries, vice deans and counselors of schools offered their observations, highly praising Thai students’ diligence and active participation in art practices, and the inclusive learning atmosphere between Chinese and Thai youth. After that, school secretaries, vice deans, and counselors offered their feedback, commending the Thai students for their diligence and active engagement in the art programs, and acknowledging the inclusive learning atmosphere that had been fostered between Chinese and Thai youth.Next to take the floor was Liu Xuehong, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office and Dean of the International Education Institute. She summarized the program achievements and outlined the college’s international aesthetic education plans, looking forward to deeper long-term exchanges with Thai partners.
The final speaker was Vice President Song Yanjun. He delivered a concluding speech. He stated that the three months together built an artistic bridge across borders. Graduation is not an end, but a new starting point for cultural communication. He encouraged Thai students to stay devoted to art, serve as cultural ambassador between China and Thailand, and preserve this precious cross-border friendship.
After the speech, college leaders awarded completion certificates to each Thai student.Teachers and students had group photos taken in batches. Following this, all attendees gathered for a group photo to celebrate their newly forged friendship. The ceremony concluded with a lunch at the second floor of the campus Italian restaurant, where everyone chatted cheerfully.
This program connected Chinese and Thai youth via art.Looking ahead, our college will continue to expand its international exchange channels, promote mutual learning among civilizations through aesthetic education, and write a new chapter in friendly exchanges between Chinese and international youth.
