Brushes Convey Friendship, Aesthetic Education Unites Us: Russian Teacher and Student Delegation Visits Dalian Art College for Exchange

　　To build an exchange platform for Sino-Russian art education and advance cultural exchange through aesthetic education, Dalian University of the Arts co-hosted the Forum for International Art Educators themed "China-Russia Art Dialogue" with the Primorsky Krai Institute of Educational Development in Vladivostok. Forty-five teachers and students from Russia’s Gifted Children’s School visited our university for a cross-border artistic rendezvous. 　　The Russian delegation arrived at Dalian University of the Arts on the morning of June 4 2025. They first toured the campus to immerse themselves in the university’s vibrant artistic education atmosphere. Two parallel sessions were then held. Young Russian students attended a special traditional Chinese painting course at the Academy of Fine Arts to experience the charm of oriental brush and ink art. Meanwhile, university leaders held talks with Russian teachers on international art education, discussed a framework cooperation agreement and took group photos together. 　　Concurrently, the opening ceremony of the International Teachers and Students Creative Exhibition "The World Through Artistic Eyes" was held. Artworks created by Chinese and Russian teachers and students were displayed side by side, showcasing the glamour of diverse arts. After the ceremony, guests visited the art gallery and cultural heritage conservation center to learn about artistic creation and cultural preservation. 　　Brushes and ink build a bridge of friendship, and aesthetic education connects young hearts of the two countries. This event allowed Russian teenagers to appreciate the beauty of traditional Chinese painting and offered a communication channel for Sino-Russian art educators. Moving forward, our university will further deepen aesthetic education exchanges with Russia, and promote cultural communication and youth friendship between the two nations with art as the bond.
